Ever had the default setting of a fan curve not be as effective as when you reduce the RPM's manually? 1080ti sc2 here in a well ventilated meshify C case.
What is the airflow in your case setup as?
2x 140mm fans intake 1000rpm top around 800
2x 120mm fans for exhaust in back. One 1000 rpm other non pwm 450rpm on top of case.
are the fans going the Wrong way?????, or are you getting negative air pressure, (you need to make sure more air is pulled into the case then there is pushed out, aka more fans on the front intaking air)
that was also my initial question....
also, are the fans and cpu cooler free of dust.
Fans in front ...IN ... back OUT .. top OUT bottom IN... typical recipe. If your fans aren't in that config... that will definitely hurt. The 1080ti can heat up a room but unless you are doing battlefield in 4K ultra... i don't think it`s even stretching it's legs
^ true although you do need to balance it out so more air is taken in then there is air pushed out
