Hi,

I am purchasing a GPU and have around $600 to spend. I was looking at maybe a 2070 FE or a Strix 1070 or maybe even an AMD card.

I'll be playing a lot of Rainbow and CS

Thanks,

Colin

2070 would have the best performance.

What resolution? You would do fine at 1080p with an RX 580 or 590. The new 2060 would be even better, as it's roughly 1070 Ti comparable. A 2070 is more GPU than you really need for those games, except maybe at 4K, but it won't hurt anything to spend for it.

yeah I was looking for 1080p around 200fps

Oh. A 2070 might manage that with the right settings if the CPU and monitor are up for it.

yeah, its a 1080p 144hz monitor from BenQ and my cpu is an i7 8700

Then all you need is 144fps. Anything more is non-viewable.
