Asus Aura Sync software? If I get a led strip and/or fans that's compatible with it can I use the software just for that or do I need an asus motherboard?

What motherboard are you getting and what fan's / LED strips (i.e are they 4 pin or addressable)

I'm getting the MSI X470 Gaming Pro Carbon hence why I'm asking.

Fans I'm not sure yet.

LED Strip will be from Phanteks.

And the reason I asked is because, even if its not mentioned there is support and it should work.

The RGB headers, 4 pin wise are generic so often will work fine with one another. The Phantek's strips are actually 4 pin RGB strips (or at least ones I can see) so will simply connect into the motherboard as any other 4 pin RGB strip would and can be managed via MSI Mystic lighting.

MSI actually list the Phatneks RGB strip on thier list for Mystic lighting: https://www.msi.com/news/detail/sjeV1BvESOIpVO55yK7n1Ct6lV8OsEyXp0I2eMVt_UTJypYhXGsbKyVKOXpWnr2h3ZkK5AiicpV4gkMCgvgFcg~~
