Hello, I just wanted to know if it is possible for me to run triple 4k monitors on a single 1080 ti for heavy gaming (Fortnite, PubG, COD, etc.) with a decent amount of fps on high settings. I am planning to overclock. Thanks

What about on triple 1080p?

That would be very well playable.

Not really because the scaling isn't multiplicative additive.

3 1080s realistically is only the power of maybe 2

Where 2 1080s is the power of about 1.6

Edit: I see he said 1080, not triple 1080 (GTX1080)

I don't think there is native support from Nvidia for 3+ cards but people on this site have done it with custom profiles. But at that point why not just get 2 1080Tis instead of 3 1080s?

3 x 1080p screens should be great with dual GTX 1080's. Got lost in translation between 1080p and 1080 lol.

My buddy has 7680x1440 and 2 1080's, hes usually around the 35-45 fps mark at best.

We are talking about 3 x 1080p screens (so the total processing pixels are 6.22M)

3 x 1080p Monitors = 5760p x 1080p = 6.22Mp.

Your buddy has 3 x1440p screens (so the total processing pixels are 11M)

3 x 1440p Monitors = 7680p x 1440p = 11Mp.

Also the OP uses a GTX 1080Ti.

Should be fine for a screen with 6.22M total pixel count.

A 4K screen has even even more pixels, and the GTX 1080Ti can get playable frame-rates with medium to high settings.

4K Monitor = 3840p x 2160p = 8.3Mp.

Let me rephrase cuz there was a slight misunderstanding, can I run triple HD monitors on a signle 1080 ti for intense gaming

4K monitors no 1080p monitors yes.

SLI is a very bad idea some gsmes show a actuall performance loss.

You should reply to Evil_Paroxysm, not me! lol.

I understood completely fine what Monitor setup you wanna use.

3 x 1080p Monitors (so a triple Monitor setup) with one GTX 1080Ti.

This setup will work perfectly fine with one single GTX 1080Ti. :)
