Opinion on cooler, please :)

I can not decide on a cooler. I know that I want it air cooled. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Ravaloft/saved/#view=JdWCyc is the build I have another part list saved but its just got a dark rock cooler saved. I know the psu is probably trash. I'll deal with it later. The case is pretty old its a spare I have laying around. No incompatibility listed but I always like other peoples opinions. I don't need storage or OS. Just opinion of cooler, please. Eventually I'd like to overclock but it's kind of whatever for now.

The Dark rock pro 3 is one of the best air coolers available, so no issue there.

I know the psu is probably trash.

Yes. It most likely is. Would recommend a Focus Plus or G2/G3 instead.

i have really liked the Cooler Master 240 on my i5 8600K - great temps - a little noisy with load but some new fans will fix that,

I have the mugen 5 on my 1700x build even with twin fans you barely hear it under overclocked load. Excellent cooler, so long as you have the height for it.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my post! How do you feel about the Noctuo dh-15? It being same price as the dark rock pro. Looks dont matter. Case has no window :)

Also a great cooler. It's massive though, so low profile RAM is a must.

Also unnecessary cooler considering the Mugen 5, Scythe FUMA, and Thermalright Macho are a thing.

Dark rock is massive too. low profile needed there as well, probably?
