First time building here. I appreciate all the help from everyone's posts. Anyway, I'm going to have more time next month off work from one of my jobs and wanted to get back into gaming - this time on pc. Also, my wife is looking into some video and photo editing as well. I'm not sure I like the idea of sharing my computer, but that was the only way to greenlight the project. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/64QrJV

Yes this is good just make sure the H7 comes with an am4 adapter. Solid build this will work well for you.

Would recommend a better PSU considering your budget, and OEM windows makes future upgrades a pain. Other than that, nice build.

You may also need an AM4 bracket for the H7.

Come here for advice before buying, not after. At least your build is decent so you won't be walking into UPS with ten boxes or canceling a ton of stuff like some people on here have had to do due to buying before asking for advice.

The 450D isn't a awful case but it has poor airflow, it doesn't have tempered glass, uses a dated HDD cage design, or a basement. Get a Pro M instead. Its a all around better case.

Get a Corsair CX/CXM instead, the M12II actually isn't a good PSU. I would suggest a TXM if possible.

Do you really need a optical drive?

It has a much better case. It has better airflow, better cable management, better cooler support, it has more durable window, it can hold more storage, and it has better dust filters.
