Corsair Vengeance LED DDR4

Limits

I am planning to get the Corsair Vengeance LED DDR4 4X8GB kit. With speed range between 3000mhz or 3200mhz (can be lower).

Question: Will it work with my motherboard? Asus X99-A II? I checked the QVL list on Asus, but it there isn't an update on the list since around when the board was first released.

It should work fine..

There is a bios update addressing

Improve DDR4 memory compatibility

https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/X99-A-II/HelpDesk_Download/

So it would be a good idea to update to latest version

X99-A II BIOS 1201

Remember they only test what they have available...Its impossible for them to test all available ram because of that. There are corsair ram with same speed and different latency.
