My wife is currently running a rig with an i7-2600k and an r9 380 which are both okay for the most part for 1080p gaming, however we want to get into VR and at the same time get her a newer more powerful gaming/streaming rig. So here's my thoughts on how I plan to do that affordably, the 980ti is a placeholder for when those go down in price or i'll swap it for a 1080 once those become available again.
