Skylake Vs. Haswell-E

So Considering a second build here and wondering if I am going for a Streaming, Gaming, Server Hosting etc. Machine do you guys think that I should snag a skylake i7 or a haswell-e i7 with more cores and everything at this point for a little cheaper than the skylake counter part and would I honestly use the extra cores or threads in a build where I will be hosting servers/gaming/streaming sometimes simultaneously? I Honestly think I would and my irl friends recommended I go LGA 2011-3 instead of LGA 1151 specifically for this reason.
