As previously stated, outside of a couple games like Tomb Raider, the vast majority of the time this card is actually competing with a 2060 Super and almost universally performs worse than a 2070 Super.

That is not true...? The 5700 XT is often 5-10 fps behind the 2070 Super in all situation unless playing in a heavily NVIDIA optimised title; however, the same happens with AMD optimised titles like Forza where the 5700 and 5700 XT outperform the 2080 ti by a large margin.

This just isn't even close to true. Please check the sources I posted.

How about YOU check the source I posted? You're digging a grave and getting called out on it, please educate yourself before making incorrect assumptions. The Linus Tech Tips Discord server has also been made aware and criticized your comments as they're clearly incorrect. As I said before, please learn where the performance numbers truly lay.

I did look at GN, and it was one of the sources used when making my decision. When creating a guide, you don't cherry pick a single source like you have done to prove your point.

You are advocating for an increase in price, power, and heat for minor gains in some scenarios. We can increase the cost guide all day back and forth until the build doesn't make sense anymore. We've already previously stated that once AIB cards are readily available we will re-adjust the guides at that time.

AiB cards are already available and the power consumption of the 5700 has already been shown to be near identical to the 2060S whilst the 5700XT is roughly the same as a 2070S, so your argument is invalid. And the increase in price is either non-existent or negligible between the 2060S and 5700XT.

And if you would like a source for my argument you can find it in the preliminary review of the 5700XT from the Australia YouTube channel Hardware Unboxed. As I've stated before, please learn what it is you're talking about prior to writing these comments.
