lol that guy has some balls modding a case like this, I couldn't bring myself to do it. I terms of temps I use to have 1 of these in my O6:

http://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N98TXTREME-6GD#kf

I got to say it really struggled exhausting out the top if you read the guys full write up he actually changes to intake later on. I tested both myself and ended up in-taking on the top as well.

I was getting about 78-81 degrees at points but switching to intake dropped that to 68-71 degrees or so. It's part of the reason I picked up the founders card this time around. That guy didn't have an AIO cooler tho so I imagine it was even worse for him.

Just keep in mind your overall system is going to be heating up due to your gpu but if you're ok with that go for it. GPU boost may be effected a bit but I haven't had a chance to test it on an open air gpu yet. Are you going to be overclocking?

Not sure if you're read my write up but there are full details of problems you may come across. I wrote it for people in your position so you have a decent idea of what you're getting into.

Here's one other O7 build: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/XG9WGX

Feel free to add me on steam if you have more questions

i wasnt sure if my first response to this went through but here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jRJ9pb updated**

I bookmarked both pages and am going to comb over your build notess

went with the founders edition 1080 ti like suggested as the blower will dissapate heat out instead of mess thermal/airflow inside the case.

It has 1x140mm fan on the case, then the rest is the 360mm rad space on top???

how is your air dynamics on your PC 07 build because i dont see any additional case fans.

and whats your steam??

Thanks again,

*** sorry if this is a double post, my internet is being troublesome atm.. :)

I though I replied to this but apparently not. My steam is Aphrenedge.

You're correct about the fans, overall the air flow is ok and I didn't bother with the 140mm behind the motherboard.

custom watercool - https://pcpartpicker.com/list/TJZ4hq

AIO cooled - https://pcpartpicker.com/list/yR6c7h

the price difference between the 2 is $1788.2 if i got the inwin case for water cool it be $1318.2

and if both had phanteks enthoo evolv atx glass for $200

the 1700 build would be $3779.19

and the 1800x build would be $5127.39 at their cheapest/my level of compromise.
