That was basically my reaction when he told me that earlier this semester lol... he's built like 2 or 3 and uses them with his desktop, server, and laptop in class now, and just lends out his extra k70 and blackwidow chroma to people now

Quite a generous person, I wish I had them in my life. And I'm just here sitting with my Corsair STRAFE keyboard, Corsair M65 mouse, Corsair MM600 mousepad, and then this laptop I have. 4GB of DDR3-1333 RAM, Intel Celeron Dual Core clocked at 2.16GHz with 64GB of VRAM. Yeah you get the point. I have great peripherals but horrible hardware.

That's basically where I was until I built my desktop for college, ha. I had a toaster laptop and instead of getting the school package laptop, I just built my rig and use my laptop as a lightweight linux machine.
