Description

It is mainly for gaming. I have been a console gamer my whole life until I started watching YouTube. I built this with the total combined knowledge I obtained from the likes of Linus, Luke, Jay, Paul and Kyle. If I could change something about the build I would spend a bit more on the motherboard. Not that the GA-Z270p-D3 isn't performing well, it's just that now that I have compiled some more attractive parts, It's left looking a bit bland. Also I chose many parts based on them being a good deal at the time and if I could choose my parts first I would probably match components to have more control of individual RGBs and accent lighting.

Ive got only one piece of advice for you my friend; monitor. You can get a decent one for about 150-200 bucks, your eyes, neck and back will thank you. But as far as the pc goes, looks pretty damn nice if I do say so myself. +1 for the cat

Please don't hate me for this but I do all of my gaming with a controller so I sit a bit farther back. The TV was a choice I made because of a several factors. The TV is a 2016 model Vizio M60-D1. Therefore:

  1. <16ms input lag From HDMI 5
  2. HDR on HDMI 1
  3. All inputs support 4K @ 60Hz and 1080p @ 120Hz Star Wars Battlefront Fighter Squadron online @ 120fps to the screen is the most amazing gaming experience I have ever even imagined I could have in my own home (remember I am sitting with a controller about 4-5 feet from the 60" screen).

SIDE NOTE: There is an XBOX ONE on the white dresser/side table underneath the desk in the picture.

+1 for kitteh and awesome build!! I totally understand what you're saying with the motherboard. My first build I bought RAM that didn't match the overall theme of the build, drove me bonkers honestly lol. Also, a monitor will pay dividends in terms of comfort!

Nice setup, I really like the choice of parts, especially the CPU cooler, I think that was a very good choice for the build, I find it somewhat funny with the giant tv as your monitor, also, nice cat.
