Description

I was a PC kid back in the day, and I have been on PS4 and Xbox the last few, and I felt it was time I went back to my roots. This baby eats everything I throw at it and then some. I havnt overclocked anything as evidence of the stock cooler which I will be upgrading soon. 1st build, and the last for a few years I hope haha

Thank you, I tried to take it slow and run one at a time, could have done better but it turned out pretty good I think

Well, it was awesome in my opinion. How are your games running right now ? With that 970

The Keyboard and mouse is awesome for $30. Occasionally I have an issue with the keyboard not turning on at boot, but it's only happened twice. It feels great and has a really bright backlight. Still can't believe it was only $30 haha and my 970 has been incredible, I'm playing modded Skyrim, The Witcher 2 and Payday 2 at 1440 p and I only drop in the high 40's on the Witcher. Unfortunately I have bought pretty much everything new on the PS4 so I haven't put out any money yet on anything brand new. But on Haven Bench I average 59.6 FPS Ultra 8x msaa. And 61.8 on Valley Bench Ultra. Card is a monster. at 1080p the card runs away lol haven't died below 90 fps in anything, it's hard for me to believe

what cooler are you looking to pick up? i've heard phanteks brand of coolers are really good. would look good inside that case as well.

I keep going back and fourth on air or water, and then it comes down to Noctua for performance or Phanteks to match my build, or an all in one liquid cooler like the h100i or a kracken, I think it may come down to a coin toss lol any suggestions

Dunno about the prices but good air coolers cost similar to h100i in Canada, no reason to pick air coolers over the better looking aio. Get a kracken if you are going for some pretty high overclocking.

As of today that's what I'm leaning towards, aio seem to be the best bang for the buck and I personally like the look. BTW thanks for all the votes guys!

Ok so I'm loving the build looks awesome. I only have 1 question which is why the Pro instead of the Luxe?

Thanks man, and The Linus Tech Tips review and the Hardware Canucks review. They gave it so much praise and it was awesome value at $100 , you get a ridiculous deal, a little screw box filled with screws, tie downs, and cable management areas that made me look like a pro and it was my first ever build, can't say enough good things about Phanteks.
