I’m an industrial design student so 3d rendering and gaming are my primary used for this setup.

Looks are a big concern for me and I’ve had bad experiences with closed liquid coolers so this build focusses on a clean looking air cooled setup at the entry level. Also budget, because student lol.

Overall this is a huge upgrade from the 970 I had paired with an FX-8350 and does what I want it to much faster, while staying cooler and quieter.

I have not had any problems with the parts I have chosen so far!

Part Reviews

Prism cooler that comes with this is fantastic, Performance is more than I paid for. AMD delivered.

Very nice for an entry level board, plenty of room for expansion.

Looks stunning in my build, performs as advertised.

No complaints, Fast and quiet.

Fast, quiet, and reliable.

Amazing performance/dollar

So I'll start off by saying I'm upgrading to this case from the NZXT H440, and this is mostly going to be a comparison review/going over why this case is the best case in the market of 2019 in my opinion.

First off, NZXT uses real glass in this case instead of the plastic crap they were using, and the quality and construction in more of a matte finish feels way nicer than the H440's gloss white. My issue with the H440 was that is was very outdated for the time, had so many drive bays uo front meant for mechanical drives and it just was a behemoth, sure it had a lot of fans and space for upgrading but if you're buying NZXT chances are you want to keep your build clean looking and simple.

This is what the H510 executes flawlessly. Incredibly simple and easy to build in. Costs $60, looks like $600. Has everything you'd need for a nice simple build and nothing you don't. The airflow is also fantastic and my temps are surprisingly lower with the negative pressure design, which I didn't expect.

I would definitely buy this case again and I've recommended it to several friends.

It's decent, I would say there are some better options for the price.

Very high quality keyboard, price is definitely worth it.

Awesome for the price.

Thank you! This was definitely something I've been thinking about.

Looks fantastic! How are the thermals? I’m struggling to figure out which fans will do a good job of creating the negative pressure the case was designed for.

Honestly, it probably doesn't matter all that much if you've got a decent heat sink. I think the wraith prism is also more than capable of holding its own, even while rendering I haven't seen temps above 55C. I just went with these fans because they were leftovers from an H440 build I did for a friend when I was getting rid of my old parts, ended up giving him the loud fans that came with the H510 and kept the quiet ones that the H440 had. The cooler master fan I have at the rear is also a leftover from an RGB hyper 212 which was also used in another build for a friend but in a closed case so he didn't want the RGB fan.

I would say if the fans are quiet, move air, and you're happy with them, then they're good fans :)

Also I should add, when I just ran the two included H510 fans at the rear initially, there was not a significant increase or decrease when I switched over to the two fans at the front and two at the rear.

However, I would suggest staying air cooled with this case because adding a radiator to the intake/exhaust areas would probably hinder airflow.
