Description

This computer is used for Gaming, small Rendering and whatnots. Surfing..

My Brother bought a Computer from Bestbuy. An Asus Essentio. We took that apart and used the Processor and Ram. Bought another Video Card (780) and revamped the whole build as you can see.

The Watercooling was for asthetics only. The processor isn't overclocked at all (Not Unlocked) But this was one of the only ways I was able to convince him to move cases (From the Nzxt 410 Phantom) to have a beautifull build that he can upgrade as needed.

Started out that he Wanted a New case and I suggested if he found one he loved I would buy the Motherboard Right then and There when he chose the Case. This is what we came up with.

The Build is fully capable of Gaming at 2560x1440 and that was the goal. If he wants to add another 780 we have a 4k Machine as well.

This is the Build Log for all the stuff I did, from start to FINISH

Little overkill on the cooling for that processor. Very nice and clean build though! +1

OF Course it is! I told him you can't overclock this processor but thats what he wanted ;)

If I had tons of money I would be so tempted to put orange juice into the cooling system just to see what would happen...

Good News is that If you don't want it to look like this you can always drink the juice when your done.. just add ICE ;)

Jayztwocents tried watercooling with orange juice, milk and Powerade. Pretty impressive.

I don't See why not!! Thank you for the Compliment. I would suggest a 4770k. My brother just used the old processor out of his other build.

Parvum S2.0 is now listed on PCPP. If you want, you can add the correct case entry so when people look up the Orange/Black S2.0 they'll see your beautiful build and nothing else. :D

Nice work. +1

Well Thank you Sir. I didn't expect someone to be looking at it this far after it has been complete. It was a hard case to complete but really turned out excellent.

I bet, I've seen videos and it seems like a lot of work and a lot could easily go wrong. Funny, but Patience, Virtue, Knowledge is actually one of the very few builds I've upvoted on here, you do good work!

Hey! That means a lot to me. I didn't expect to Get on here and Have someone Say that. I appreciate the kind words and am sorry that this build has to leave in my brothers hands.

I wouldn't like letting that go either but at least it's staying in the family lol

Absolutely wonderful build! Looks great!

I want a Parvum really bad, but the price is so high...

  • 1 point

Would have to agree with that! The quality is very nice though. I paid 142$ for my Corsair 750D and that Parvum Case was 240$ish. Came out nice though.

Thanks! Had to re-use the ram from the old Cpu

It looks good, very nice build, but completely pointless? Custom cooling loop on a non-overclockable CPU and spent a disproportionate amount of money on cooling VS GPU+CPU. I do like it, but the price/performance-obsessed part of me doesn't understand why. :D

I understand. Explanation is in the description. I have a 4770k myself that is overclocked and tried to explain he won't have a ton of heat (if any) from this processor during regular use.

Is the power supply you purchased good? Have you had any problems with it so far? I'm thinking about buying it.

Do not go with a NEX 750. Go with a GOld Rated Psu From EvGa. I had coil whine after 6months on EVGA's lower end.

Get a 4790K as a upgrade soon. I have a friend with one of those, and they say it is well worth the investment. Overclocks like a champ too!

  • 1 point

I have a 4770k in my build! I have yet to try the 4790K. My brother has no need to uprgrade processor yet. I will contemplate this though.

The 4790K is better in every way than the 4770K, but less expensive for some reason. The 4790K is devils canyon, which means cooler CPU, and better performance at same clock speed relative to haswell.

  • 1 point

Oh I understand. Yet I have gotten the same overclock on the 4770k as some people have on the 4790k. It was supposed to be this "Golden" chip and was actually a hit or miss for overclocks.

Cool build, I bet it still rocks even in 2016. The orange/black case is awesome too! About those 80mm case fans tho, aren't they loud? I'm planning a build using a mini itx case but don't feel like spending too much on case fans, but don't want ones that are too loud either lol

  • 2 points

They aren't to loud. They are not to quiet either. They are just fans.

Now that its 2019, How's that thing doing? Just a bit curious. It looks phenomenal BTW.
