Description

This was my first real pc build (my other pc was a hand me down with 6 year old parts in it). I love the look of the Evolv X and it was super easy to build in. Everything went very smoothly and it was a fun process

Congrats on your first build !!

Were you confident when you pressed the power button the first time ?

I don't have you tell you that you have a powerful PC but I'm wondering why you purchased 6 fans ?

3 on the front, 2 for the the top and 1 for the exhaust?

did you not like the fans that came with the case ? Or with the Thermaltake aio ?

I am still using the fans that came with the case. I did not like the fans that came with the aio, so I swapped them out for the Phanteks ones, and since I had an extra fan slot on the bottom in the front, I figured I would put a fan there as well.

Krossrunner is correct. I have 3 fans in the front of the case for intake and 2 on top for exhaust and 1 in the rear also for exhaust. The case came with 3 included fans and I bought 3 fans separately and 3 Phanteks RGB fan frames as well

Can you post a picture of your build without the system on? I have a very similar build to yours that I plan on ordering soon and was wondering about fan configuration. Are you also using a push or pull, or push+pull config on your AIO in the front? How are the noise levels?

I will get those picture uploaded as soon as I can! I am doing a push config on the rad. The system is audible, but I can't hear it while I am playing games. I can hear it faintly while I am watching youtube though

Do you think there's enough space for a push and pull config for a 420mm radiator mounted at the front? Assuming you aren't using the hard drive space at the bottom though. Build looks great, cant wait to see the pictures!

There is definitely enough space for a push pull, but it would be a little bit of a tight fit for sure

What's the 2nd pcie device you have in there?

Not completely sure, but it seems to be a pcie wifi adapter card.

Hey, I'm planning o build in this case but I need to get some things straight. Seeing that the case comes with three 140mm fans, that means that you have mounted the fans that came with the case on the top and the back of the case. So which fans are in front? and are the front fans 120mm?

All of the fans that I have are 140mm fans. This case supports triple 140mm at the front. Also, I figure I should mention that the fans that come included with the case are not PWM, if that matter to you.

Thanks a lot fam. Nice build by the way. The fans can still be controlled manually right?

Sorry for the late reply, but it is actually just the airflow cover that comes with the case, i just decided to use it to cover up that gap.

Hi mate. Awesome build. I 'm getting the same case/cooler combo so i 'd to ask if you tried mounting the radiator in front. Are the hoses long enough to reach the front? Thanks in advance.

Sorry for the late reply, but I actually do have the radiator installed in the front in the pictures, so yes, they are long enough :). However I can see why it looks like it is top mounted.

I mean with the fans in pull position.

nice build! just for curiosity can the side door come off without opening them all the way? my desk is kinda cramped and I need to remove the side panels often. Thanks
