Description

First build here, gamer for years but always just used pre built due to the convenience (And I always got incredible deals from school/work).

Parts list says it all! I even lucked out and bought a "Used-Like new, original pristine packaging un-opend" Mobo from amazon. Turns out it had part of the box front picture ripped off due to shipping to amazon's warehouse, I got a brand new Hero IX in original un-opened box for 190$!

Super easy build, no issues at all. My real concern was the software side and it turned out to be a breeze. Maybe a bit over the top with the lights but hey......why not right?

Turned out better than I expected and am hitting incredible marks for FPS under the highest possible settings for pretty much every game I have tried. Plan to bump up to 32gb ram in the fall and explore the option of SLI 1080 ti's once the next gen comes out and price drops on them.

Using two screens, one that is on the list and an older Dell gaming monitor for the second.

Overall I was proud enough to make a post lol.....let me know your thoughts!

How was the 1080 Ti? Is it worth the extra money over an 1080?

I cant say for sure just because I have not been able to test or use a 1080 but let me tell you.....going from a 980ti to this thing makes me feel like I lived in the stone age. I play alot of PUBG among other games but i went from a cool 40-60fps to a steady 120-144 even in extreme combat. Thats without me OC the CPU or changing GPU in any way. In my mind worth it but thats totally personal opinion :)

Noticed some of the pics were a little out of focus, the lighting in my office isnt the best for taking pictures, uploaded a few better ones. Thanks again for the feed back!
