Description

Its a wicked fast gaming sytem, I wanted to build a one off beast of a PC to game at ultra on everything.

I Game at 1440P so I have had no drama's. Want to run Shadow of the Tomb Raider at Ultra with Ray Tracing and DLSS and get a constant 70-80 FPS? this will do it. I have mainly been playing Forza Horizon 4 and Motorsport 7 and Its on max settings at arround 100 FPS.

I did receive a bad 3900X, it worked for about 3 hours before blowing itself to smitherenes even though it was running at 55 degrees C max under load...... who knows... so that has been RMA'd, currently running a 3700X and it still is killing everything.

I started with the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master (pictured) but with the CPU drama I had i thought it was a bad motherboard (i know right) so I got a MSI Meg X570 Ace.

This thing is quiet.. it gets a touch noisy under max load but I wear the G933 headphones anyway. I do maintain military helicopters and work on a ship for a living so my defenition of loud and yours may differ but its quiter than my reverse cycle air con?

The one complaint I have with it is that the 2080 Ti is a touch long and rubs against the lower intake fan. I also changed out the included ML140 fans on the H115i with ML140 Pro's for better air flow and BLAAACK...

All in all I did end up with an extra X570 motherboard and a spare 3700X (once my RMA goes through and i get the 3900X back). I was planning on building a computer for the girlfriend anyway.... Looks like she is just getting more than she bargained for haha.

This is a beautiful build! If you can I would recommend a GPU support bracket to reduce sag. +1

Cheers mate it was actually doing my head in! I've just ordered an MNPCTECH bracket in black for it.

Sweet! I currently have a single fan GPU and it still sags after 3 years so I can't imagine how much that beast would without a bracket.

Im also considering spray painting the PCI slot blanks black. why do fractal make such a beatiful case then make those things white...

Thats a decent gaming rig! I love the subtle white throughout the black but you're right about the white pci slots standing out like dogs balls lol

How is the ram? Would you recommend it for it's price? Curious about it, but doesn't seem like a good deal.

its excellent RAM, its CL16 3600MHz DDR4, if your running ryzen i wouldnt go any different, I have it overclocked to 3733 and zero drama what so ever with it. I actually had trouble finding CL16 3600MHz+ kits when i built my PC. theres so much CL18 around and that is a lot cheaper
