Description

LEBBEUS was put together for BOLDR Architecture's 2019 Q2 Build. We're an architectural studio with a focus on Architectural Visualization and Concept Design. Currently, our work relies heavily on CPU Power, so it was a no-brainer to go with the Threadripper.

Excited to see what we can do with this guy!

Part Reviews

CPU

32 Core's at an affordable price. Nuff said.

CPU Cooler

Read somewhere that this Cooler collides with the G.Skill Trident Ram. We are only using four of our 8 Ram Slots and it fits. It does look tight tho, not sure if it would collide if we were using 8... The colors are awesome on this, and I personally love that it not only the lines light up, but the "AMD Ryzen Threadripper" part lights up to proudly share the CPU Monster underneath.

Case

Amazing Case - The lighting is fantastic!

The cables bunched up on the back and made the rear door kinda hard to shut, but I should just space out the cabling more...

Case Fan

The instructions were horrible, but it was easy enough to set up. The included remote has a ton of really cool settings.

Have you considered the Radeon VII for stuff like Solidworks and etc?

Thanks for sharing! This PC is primarily for our 3D Artist that focuses on lighting/ rendering... I'm gonna look into that for our 3D Modeler!

Why did you go with the Wraith Ripper? The Deepcool Fryzen might be just as good for less.

I actually ordered two by accident for my last build and forgot to return the Wraith... I might go with the Fryzen next time...

Hey, are your G. Skill Trident Z memory sticks the AMD version or just regular? How are they working with your Threadripper 2990wx?
