Well, I first built this pc back in 2010. Although it looked a little different.

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-3570 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
  • Motherboard: ASRock H77M Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
  • Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1333 Memory
  • Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
  • Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1GB Video Card
  • Case: Cooler Master Storm Enforcer ATX Mid Tower Case
  • Power Supply: Antec EarthWatts Green 750W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply

I know I need an ssd, I’m broke. So I had absolutely no clue what I was doing but an old friend of mine had convinced me to build one. 6 years later, fast forward to 2016, pc began to stutter and just died. So I went in to see what the issue was, granted I barely had any knowledge at that point, I figured out my cpu had burned out. I didn’t have proper cooling, hadnt change thermal paste, and poof. By this point I had a job so I decided to splurge a little. Ended up adding the i7-4790k and it’s been an absolute monster ever since, never had any issues. Matched my motherboard and ram to the case, red and black theme was enough at the time. I’ve never overclocked and probably won’t until I get a new build more than likely, having an 8 year old psu scares me. It’s nothing special but I’m proud of it. Sorry for the lack of pictures I’ll get more soon desks always a mess.

Aug. 2019 Finally got a new PSU. Fixed cable management, and replaced old bad ram. Sept. 2019 new keyboard+keycaps moved pictures around a bit. First few of pc are old after are the cable managed ones

Part Reviews

Would buy again without a doubt, blows my mind every say

CPU Cooler

Couldn’t get the rgb to work pins bent while trying to install, keeps i7 4790k at 35c idle 65c during gaming (not overclocked)

Edit: 8 months after purchase, runs 40 idle and 70 under load.

Does it’s job, didn’t realize it had 3 fan hubs but I got excited when I saw I wouldn’t need fan splitters, looks really good too

Mass storage, fast, quiet, I’d recommend

Video Card

Still puts me in awe, games I love to play stay above 100fps, runs hot but you know

Power Supply

Fantastic PSU. No issues here, booted first try. Cables are beautiful, a bit longer would've been nice.

Optical Drive

Works wonderfully, what more can I say

Operating System

It’s an os, not much to say

Case Fan

Not as bright as I was hoping for but still nice and move plenty of air.

Wonderful monitor good colors. Super cheap and reliable

Love this thing would buy and recommend

Absolutely love it, would buy again 100% software is amazing colors are vibrant and beautiful. Paired with pudding caps it's absolutely jaw dropping

I believe I got this upon release and it met to my expectations, Razer synapse is whatever but it’s a beautiful mouse

You should have bought a rx 580 8g for $100 less and much better performance. Also, that cpu is overpriced, you could have bought an i7 8700k. And then with the extra money saved on the gpu, a cpu cooler.

Lmao he built this in 2016 so it was before the RX 580 even existed and same with the i7 8700k. That’s why it’s called a little late but why not...

This build was done 3-4 years ago. I got the 970 in 2015 and the cpu+mobo in 2016 I just never got around to posting so I figured why not
