This is the meta sequel to my previous build(Fiery *******. How so? The upgrades! Since the completion of the Fiery *******, I have upgraded the GPU, added an ssd, erected a dual monitor stand, changed headsets, and threw in a network adapter that is 50 MBps faster than the on board network adapter.
This CPU, despite its price and platform, is nothing but performance. 4 cores is perfect for gaming, The ability to overclock is amazing, and the price to performance ratio is superb. People always talk about intel being SO much better and that a sub $100 is nothing but a bottleneck. There is a difference between a bottleneck and there simply being a better cpu out there for more money. Is the GPU at over 60% usage? Are you getting good framerates? Can you stream with it? If yes to all of these then shut up and play!
This thing is simple. $50 air cooler, has an LED, and keeps my cpu cool under load and OC. The fan stays silent and the LED is bright and vibrant. Simple as that. Wou;d recommend if in stock.
This mobo is amazing. It can OC whilst being perfectly stable, has a freaking dragon on it, and is great for the money. I don't care that I spent $100 on an FM2+ mobo, I don't spend all of my money on a CPU and GPU and then stuff in a crappy case, psu, and ram just for the sake of fitting it in a budget. Balance is key in order to get performance and stability. Yes, I'm looking at your/buildapc and how you tell people to get an i5 and a $30 mobo just to be able to stuff in a 970 or whatever. The only downsides are : only 4 sata cables, comes with mediocre at best software, and only has a 100 MBps onboard network adapter.
It's RAM, what more is there to say? Just like a power supply in a pre-built it does its job without you noticing it. Just like a cheap PSU, it'll explode because of you.
Speed is all there is to say. No cloning software, but you can come across some for about $20-$30. Holds my OS and BF4.
Cheap, just as fast as a wd Black, and hold all of my por-.....portable files.
Amazing card for both 1080p and 1440p gaming. Spending anymore on a card for 1080p is just asinine. Don't brag about your 144hz 1080p monitor and gtx 980 ti because that's just cringe worthy. Who cares about 100+fps when you have very little pixels and the game doesn't even hinge itself on a single frame killing you or not. Unless the game is DOTA, LoL, CS, and the like then it's not very beneficial other than massaging your ego and wasting money on the most average of resolutions. This card can do anything you want it to at any resolution. People are just too proud to turn one setting down that barely changes anything. This fits my NEEDS not my epeen.
This is an HTPC case but with so many hard drive bays, SSD mounts, pcie slots, etc. I couldn't resist. Has great airflow and is easy to dust when needed.
80+ Gold, 650w, and enough for even an r9 390x overclocked, it is great for the money. I eally just went to microcenter and thought," eh, why not?"
Wired Network Adapter
Fast , cheap, and low profile. still doesn't cap out my connection, but it gets close enough.
Good viewing angles, 75hz, but only VGA D:
TN 5ms, horrid viewing angles, but I'm stuck with it until my wallet says otherwise outside of a steam sale.
Crappy, buggy, and getting a bit dirty now. Gonna replace one day.
You don't even need my word for it. Just read every review on the internet :D
Sounds great, has a surprisingly extended range, and has a decent mic.
