Description

One of 2 build that became from another build, ended up ripping my one computer apart, ordered a few more parts and build 2 computers. Just using as a gaming computer and I wanted it to look good. The only thing that's going to change over the next month is the monitor, which will be going to the ROG Swift. the other build here: http://pcpartpicker.com/b/gTnnTW

Considering the color scheme, you should have called it MegaMan! +1

Awesome Build. I know another 780 Ti is probably not worth it but do you plan on getting one and I have to ask if you have overclocked yet because I noticed it's not listed but overclocking must be a dream on this one. Great job. +1

What's with the loopback on your pump?

its just for show, its the cool looking Aurora coolant that has a pearling effect when its flowing. no point to it other then looks. i had an extra res laying around and some left over coolant so i decided id put it in for looks.

That might affect your temps slightly... Having multiple reservoirs and unnecessary lengths of tubing.

not worried about it. i have a 360 and a 480 both in push pull so temps are very low as it is. even more so that they are on 2 different loops and low pump settings. no noise and very low temps.

Typically, single loop systems have better cooling potential than dual loop systems. Strange.

No dude, you misunderstand, it is literally feeding back into itself. It goes res>pump>res. It might get kinda hot and be not so good for the pump but I don't think it's that big a deal.

With a D5, nothing stands in the way of good temps, excessive tubing or not. lol - Out of interest, what coolant is in the bayres? Is it also Aurora?

EDIT - Aurora coolant is supposed to be for show rigs and lasts a short time before gunking like crazy, so be careful.

I didn't misunderstand anything. I'm aware of how it works.

Okay... Your initial statement confuses me.

Yeah, aurora is a disaster. After three days in my custom loop (hard bend acrylic) it looked like it'd been running for months. Awful. Took about a whole day to take apart my blocks and clean those. Oh well, live and learn!

How's are the Avexirs LEDs for you, heard they kind of pulse/flash randommly? Thinking about putting some in my build for the aesthetics of black and yellow.

  • 1 point

yes they pulse and flash, the orange LED ones that i have look like fire embers when the lights are off.
