This is my first attempt at PC building. I am a middle aged mom from a gaming family. We have always been console people but have recently been getting into PC titles. Loving this little build so far. I got a really good deal on the graphics card, and it is doing great for now but will be the first upgrade we make. We are running at least 75 fps (using a 75 Hz monitor with gsync) on pretty much everything we play at high settings. I haven't thrown a true top tier AAA title at it yet, and I am sure we will have to go to medium settings there but I am happy with that.

Really happy with the performance of this CPU

CPU Cooler

Picked this up for $39 on sale and it has been great. Easy to install for a new builder.

Had to update the BIOS on this to get running on ryzen 3000 but it was quick and simple. Works like a charm.

Another sale pickup here. Paid $67 and play well with ryzen

I really like this case. It was the 2nd one I tried and this one is by far better in terms of use of space and cable management. I did have to fiddle around with radiator and fan placement to dial in the thermals, but got them where I wanted.

Fantastic! Very nicely done. The Leia figure goes perfect with the build.

How hard was it to update the bios on the mobo to 3rd gen? Did you have to use a 2nd gen cpu to update it?
