UPDATE: Sept 7 2019 - Sold it on OfferUp for $725

Wanted to try out a fun build buying parts only listed on r/buildapcsales. My objective was to build a decent gaming pc and flip it. I could have waited for better deals, but I wanted to finish the build within a certain timeframe. Time frame was roughly 2 weeks. Hope to do another one of these in the future :)

Part Reviews

CPU

Great CPU for the price. 6 core/12 threads for only a little over $100? Great time to build PCs

Motherboard

Really liked the lighting on the board. Aura Sync works really well. A little bit disappointing this did not have a 5v RGB header.

Memory

Great RAM. Was able to get these to 3200/16 with XMP.

Storage

Decent drive. Will throttle to speeds of an HDD if storage capacity reaches around 80% of the drive.

Video Card

Can run a bit loud. Was able to run 1080p/144hz and get 100+ FPS with high settings on most games.

Power Supply

Nice 650 PSU. There is an RGB control switch on the back of the power supply to cycle through the colors and effects. Don't really like that the color of the connectors for the the GPU cable is red.

Custom

Huge case with great airflow. RGB switch on the front panel to control the two 200mm RGB fans on the front. The controller that is in the case comes with a 5v ARGB cable to plug into the motherboard.

You gotta take the plastic wrap off of the case before you take pics! Nice build, especially for the price. I'm currently doing my build and falling victim to all of the "oh, I'll spend $20-50 more here" on almost every category and my initial $1k build is now at about $1600.
