I made this almost a year ago now and thought id show it off! yesss i do need to clean the inside and yessss my cable management is horrible.
You made it a year ago yet it has a Asus Strix GTX 970? that didn't come out a year ago mate.
Told you time machines were real.
I'm not saying it was aliens... but it was aliens.
Ummm, why did you take a close shot pic of your hard drives instead of the whole interiors of your computer?
not sure why you went with 2 sets of 2x4GB RAM... as Z87 boards only support 2-channel memory, so you could have gotten maximum benefit and upgrade-ability with a 2x8GB setup... and ugh... I get that case choice is all about what YOU want aesthetically (and build quality/practicality)... but it's appropriate you posted this around Halloween case that case is horrific... would certainly have chosen a different motherboard for THAT price...
other then that I'm sure it will serve you well... should be a good performer
For all of that killer hardware, you seriously need a nicer case to show it off. Something like the NZXT S340 or H440 or the Phanteks Enthoo Pro or Luxe would be a perfect fit and improve the look dramatically.
Post some more pictures, mate.
Why dont you go to h100i ?? instead of h80i....
How is the keyboard working out for you
How do you like the Corsair headset? Thinking about getting one, but maybe the 1400's instead. Feedback is welcome from everyone else too.
Im looking at the 2100's I believe its called... Wireless ;D
Haha those are nice too :) But I want some analog headphones to go along with my new sound-card. Btw, I have some Logitech G930's which are also wireless and a little cheaper depending on where you look, and I love them! But i'm starting to become a bit more of an audiophile...
Lol I get what you mean with audiophile and I'm sure i will buy a nice pair for music / media but gaming and convenience is my priority :)
Might have over paid for a few things...CPU i7-4790k ($279.99)...RAM (1GB = $10), SSD/Storage (1GB = $1 (or less)), LG 29UM65-P 29.0" (Asus VG248QE --> 144Hz, 1ms response time, 24.0" $249.99)...Cooler Master CM Storm Sentinel Advance II Wired Laser (Mouse) [Corsair Vengeance 8200 dpi, laser, $47.99-$64.99 (depending on color)]...Would not have gone with ROCCAT for keyboard (Could've gone with Razer or Corsair Gaming or Mad Catz)
This was so bad :')... I'm so sorry I'll be building a new one soonish I'll do a better job of that :p
How do you.like that lg 29" monitor ? Do you have any problems with the 2560x1080 resolution? Nice just needs a little tlc !
