Apotheosis - Elevation to a divine status, the highest form through progression.
I wanted to build this system around the graphics card and show off the cool 3 fan design. I used the Mountain Mods PCI bracket and a piece of acrylic to attach it to the case. The cutout on the front panel was done at a local water cutting shop (Stream Works in SLC UT), I'm really happy about how it turned out! The paint on the case is Montana Granite effect. I custom made all the power cables and used MDPC sleeving. The windowed panel on the back is for showing off the cable management. I got the idea from Hans Peder Sahl's work on Youtube, that guy does unbelievable work!
The cable sleeving, spray paint on RAM heat spreaders, and light blue dye in the coolant are all UV reactive, I liked the glowing effect when all the other lights were off!
I created this build 1 year ago, here's some issues I had: -I used to have a 3d printed stand for the GPU, but the heat inside the case caused it to warp. So it you want to use 3d printed parts inside a case, make sure the material can handle high temperatures. -I had CableMod RGB/UV LED strips inside the case, one on the backside of the GPU, one up top. The heat from the case combined with heat generated by the actual LEDs caused the silicone waterproofing the melt a bit, so I took them out. I'll have to find another UV solution, maybe cathode lights... -Added some side-lit LED's inside the glass panel to see the GPU and vinyl graphic better.
My favorite part of this build is the monitor. 120 Hz is amazing, and the 4k resolution has been flawless!
I'd like to do some stress tests on my CPU and GPU for temperatures so I'll post those soon.
