Description

Almost everything went well for my very first build. The only setbacks were some minor issues with the case. First of all, the top drive bay was blocked by the front panel cables. Secondly, there wasn't an option to properly cable manage the CPU power cable if you already put the mobo in. There isn't space for it if you already have it in. Apart from that, it runs like a dream. Boots decently fast and is great for the games that i'm currently playing (Chivalry, Modded Skyrim, Battlefield 4). 9.5/10, would build again.

Part Reviews

Case

Pretty good for a budget case and it looks pretty sexy, but there are a few problems. First off, I made the mistake of installing the motherboard in before looking properly at the cable management options. There isn't any proper space for you to run the CPU power cable through. There's a tiny little crack above where the motherboard would be, but that's it. Second, the drive bay at the very top is blocked by cables from the front panel. A real pain in the ***, so I had to install it on the bottom to make it look alright. Finally... WHY THE HELL ARE THE GRILLS ON THE SIDE WINDOW DIFFERENT!?!? SURE IF YOU WANT THEM THERE FINE, GO FOR IT, BUT THE GRILLS AND HOLES ARE DIFFERENT! GAH! All in all though, it's a nice case apart from those few "design flaws". 4/5.

Monitor

Very nice and sleek monitor. Nothing wrong with it, what more could you ask for?

Keyboard

Nice feel, nice look, nice lighting. Perfect, apart from the fact that it is a bit pricey.

Mouse

Very comfortable mouse and the extra buttons and on board profiles are very handy.

Headphones

Very nice, comfortable, cozy and bassey. Sound great.

You paid out for a 'K' i5, and a cooler, yet didn't get a motherboard with bios overclocking. Are you using some kind of software overclock?
