Part Reviews

CPU Cooler

The Thermalright (that's 'right', not 'take') Macho B CPU cooler has worked out well. I painted the fan blades and heat sink fins red. Also added the duct to connect the airflow to the exhaust fan. Much cooler and quieter than my old 92mm cooler.

Incredible deal! 5-way optimization is nice. The PCI-E and M.2 lane sharing options are limited and confusing.

Bought a second pair to total 16GB. Overclocked to 1800. No issues

This Intel 750 PCIe SSD is new but seems to work just fine and fast. I had to flash update my BIOS to get my Z97 motherboard to boot from the card but that was easy, and I needed the update anyway.

I setup my Samsung drive to hold my Steam Library.

Good value for my games storage.

Power Supply

I needed this much power for my old GTX470. It still works fine. Painted Mazda Dark Gray.

Optical Drive

I have my case on its side and this drive sometimes makes vibration noise and/or will fail to burn. Turning the drive flat (case up) is fine.

Case Fan

I was surprised that the be quiet! Silent Wings fans included with the case are better than this fan. I painted mine red with black blades.

Case Fan

Replacing my old 1 fan with these 2 increased my o/c from 4.2 to 4.5 and dropped GPU temps by 20C! I love the way the LEDs light the case so I can work on my PC while the power is still on. I painted the blades orange, making the lighting Creamsicle orange.

The best mouse I have ever tried. It is a large mouse, but I'm a large guy. I love the looks and I am so glad it works great too.

Big change from first two setups (200 and 2008). Looking into getting Noctua fans as well, will do a RAID 0 on SSDs on upcoming build, Thanks for sharing, seen pics on Twitter as well _^

Nice rig. Really like the graphics slides (1st three pics) explaining your build.
