should have gone for a better cpu cooler if you wanted to overclock

Cerberus X case air cooler has a maximum height clearance of 148mm. There's not a whole lot of choices. I guess I might be able to add another 120mm fan for push and pull and a 120mm x 15mm for exhaust up top. top fan mounts are extras and are not included. We'll see. Liquid cooling is better but decided to opt out just for more cleaner look.

Or could've used downdraft styled cooler Noctua offers (forgot the precise model name) or from someone else (Cryorig C7 ain't bad though it presumably has partial performance of H7).

How is the ram running?

How is the ram? i have seen benchmarks with 4400mhz ram and from what i've seen it gives a huge performance boost is that true?

does your ram clock at 4400? because your mobo doesn't seem to support ddr4 4400 but it support 4600?

How is the ram because I get this message on my part list when I have the ram included. The Patriot - Viper Steel 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-4400 Memory operating voltage of 1.45 V exceeds the Intel Coffee Lake Refresh CPU recommended maximum of 1.35 V+5% (1.417 V). This memory module may run at a reduced clock rate to meet the 1.35 V voltage recommendation, or may require running at a voltage greater than the Intel recommended maximum.

Do you experience and reduced clock rates on yours because I also have the same processor.

How is that cooler handling that CPU and at what frequency/voltage do you have your CPU at?

Isn't that the worst rtx 2080 ti you could've got?

The Strix 2080 ti is one of the best you can get...

The worst I wouldn't say that. This model easily over clocks. I have not run into any issues yet. I played hours on a AAA games fan noise is quiet. Anywho the worst ones is the Micron, those days are over and replaced by Samsung ddr5memory chips. Imo if we're talking about looks I say The HOF ex and Gaming Trio. For over clocking Asus strix <oc> and Evga cards.
