Description
Mostly for gaming, I do also use this for some lighting programming. So far, she runs great! Only downside, I already want to build another PC... Not because I need more for ehat I do, but because I love building rigs!
Part Reviews
CPU
Great bang for your buck! I have mine stable at 4.5Ghz!
CPU Cooler
Keeps my i5 nice and cool! It's a little bulky, can't fit all 4 sticks of ram that my motherboard handles without the fan touching the closest stick. But I'm only running with two sticks, so all is well!
Motherboard
Great board! My only issue is that the inner red led and USB ports remain powered when my system is off.
Memory
Just wish RAM was a bit cheaper! Lol
Storage
Tried and true, good old WD-Blue!
Video Card
TANK!!!!!!!!! I highly recommend this GPU if you can't pony up for 1070ti or better. And it's smaller footprint makes it great for builds of all sizes!
Case
Great case! BIG case! Lol Not really worth the money I paid for it, in my opinion. But it did come with 7 fans, 6 of wich have blue leds to match one of my preferred color schemes.
Power Supply
Great PSU!!! But they need to work on this RGB, it runs separate from the rest of my system, and the blue color isn't the same as my case fans or motherboard. Also, the "RGB Power Switch" doesn't turn the lights on/off, but it controls the fan on/off... Not cool!
Operating System
I don't see what people are complaining about, it's a decent os.
Keyboard
Wish the RGB was software controlled rather than by a button mixed in next to the "FN" key... Or that it at least held my last color setting between power cycles. Also, the key presses can be a little wonky sometimes.
I should have bought a better keyboard.
