Description

This was a budget pc that I built with the idea of price and performance. I went with the 8320 because it is highly overclockable. I have it running at 4GHZ now. Also the GTX 770 2GB is perfect for 1080p gaming on a single monitor. Everything else is for higher resolutions or multiple display's. I am very happy with the performance so far! The whole build went smooth with no errors at all! Until I tried installing windows 8.1 off a flash drive. We forgot the make windows bootable of the drive facepalm

My cousin saved me around 100 or more dollars because he gave me Windows 8.1 64-bit Enterprise for free! I also had my monitor, keyboard, and mouse purchased way before I wanted the build a PC. I saved around 500-600 dollars on the build! Also found my motherboard and cpu for a cheap combo deal at microcenter for 195 dollars! All in all, I am very happy!

Very nice for $850. Any reason you didn't get an i5 or a 990FX mobo for your 8320?

A little to pricey plus an i5 4670k and 8230 arent that much different. I know its better for single core things, but there is really not a huge cap when it comes down to fps. Also this board was a steal because it is a 8+2 power phase and it has heatsinks on the VRM, NB, etc. Really good board for overclocking!

Sweet build! How is that GPU in terms of noise? I'm thinking about getting that same card later on. I currently have the 750 Ti and it's a little loud.

Perfectly fine! Its get a little loud but thats because the case is literally less than a foot away from me. But I use a headset when I play games and I dont hear it at all! This is a monster gpu for the price and performance. Hurry it comes with watch dogs!

How many fan headers are on that mobo? I'm trying to find a reasonably priced one with a good amount of fan headers

Very nice! Always good to see some AMD FX people on here.

How is the Corsair m65? I've been thinking about getting the m45 and was just curious how it was.

SSSHHH!!!! Yes it is good to see AMD builds... but watch out with your comments about it, if you say good words about AMD more than like 2 times the Intel guys will report you, and you will be warned not to spam etc. by the staff. Believe me, I know... it happened to me.

Hahaha! One of the first questions I got when I posted my build was "Why didn't you go Intel?" Probably because the 8350 is just as good.

Cool, thank you! I've been wanting to pick one up but just haven't done it yet. Would rather spend money on other PC parts XD
