Description

i had trouble with one ram stick but i later found out it wasn't in the dimm all the way. I understand the quality of the photos are bad. Its because my phone is an 100 dollar smart phone with no auto or manual focus. Im sorry this isn't even my build. My pc is a I7 4790k with a gtx 980. I just posted this because i put it together. I understand the tubes looked kinked on the top gpu. It actually is a little bit but both cards run at the same temp. This is my first build with water cooled components so i had no clue with cable management. With all my pcs i built for myself i buy cases with basements for easy cable management like the nzxt s340. other then that the build destroys 4k benchmarks. Finally i dont recommend this case, yes its big but its not enough room for cable management and the rads barley fit every side pannel and filter pops off way to easy and is a pain the butt so dont use it.

Spend $3360 and you don't care enough to take decent photos of the beast or write an actual description lol. I'm sure its cool but com'on man don't be lazy

STEP #1: PLEASE for the love of god re-adjust CPU cooler so the "Corsair" reads streaight which will mean your cooler hoses should be coming from the right side and not from the left as you have them now. Those poor hoses are asking for help and your GPUs are at risk of drowning. . . which brings me to...

STEP #2: Please rotate your GPU coolers so that instead of the hoses coming from the right side they come from the bottom side. . . (turn cooler once clockwise) this should also allow a little less stress on the hoses.

STEP #3: PLEASE cable manage that F*&K out of that amazing set up of yours. . . You here sir have a Ferrari. . . except the Ferrari is littered like NY Subway station. Those wires should be blending in nicely with the rest of the build and not throwing up gang signs. Key here is blend in, think of a fart inside a Jacuzzi; you know its there, but its blending in with the rest of the bubbles. . .

STEP#4: Give the people of PCPP.com what they want! "WE WANT GOOD LIGHTING!" -When do we want it? "NOWWWW!" and also maybe another 20+ Photos, preferably using a current camera not a oldschool Gamboy camera.

      • All jokes aside this is an amazing build that could have easily been featured due to the amazing parts and pure eye candy parts, however you need to add better quality pictures and PLEASE a nice description of this majestic build * * * Good day sir!

How could you possibly build this machine and still not be able to focus your smartphone camera? 2/3 pictures are blurry as hell...

Is nobody going to talk about the lack of cable management?

There's a lot worse things happening here than just cable management.

You have an X99 build with a 5930K and 980ti's in SLI ....... Was this your first build? What do you use this for? Even if you only use your phones camera you need to get good light into the case (not the flash) so your images can been seen. The cooling coming from the 980ti's appear to be stretched quite tight.......

Help us out

Thank You

I agree that top tube looks a little tight and it's concerning. ~$1400 in GPUs are at risk!

God damnit I wish I had that GPU budget :(

Give it enough time and any computer can be a $1400 computer.

I've learned this... :(

Nice potatoes I really love that upside down cpu cooler and bunch of red cables

  • 2 points

man come on! Take some less potato-like photos, do at least a paragraph writeup and do some cable management. Whats the point of buying custom cables if you are then not going to decently tidy them.

I love builds with 5930k and read and writing skills take those photos in luminescant lighting if only I could spell that correctly

Amazing PC specs, but like everyone is saying you could probably take better pictures and write a better description of the Machine. Great build, +1 for me. It might honestly be better to turn the CPU cooler so it isn't at that angle. Make it so the Corsair symbol is upsidedown.

Im just curious, why is your Corsair pump this way ??

  • 1 point

Not to reiterate all the other comments, but your top GPU's left coolant tube looks like it's stretched taught and might even be kinking. Honestly I'm sure those things are rated to be totally solid in any configuration, but cmon man, you just gotta flip it so the tubes are on the bottom of the radiator. You're gonna spend more than some people's entire budget on GPU's and leave it to chance like that?

He got us good. April Fools!

Right?

In all seriousness though great looking build . It looks like a beast. BUT if you spend over $3k in parts alone, it might be prudent to at least make sure everything is attached properly and at least looks nice. It's like buying a nice car only to throw fast food bags in it and drive it through mud whenever you get the chance.

  • 1 point

But fast food bags won't damage the car, and neither will the mud -- it's just aesthetic ;0)

Lol you could've at least focused the camera man haha

Please excuse my rude, but were you sober when you took those photos? Yep, those hoses look kinked. I'm sorry in advance, if you feel like a punching bag.

  • 2 points

i was sober i have 100 dollar smart phone and this isn't my pc this for a friend i have a 4790k with a gtx 980 i decided i rather have a nicer pc then phone. That was my options my parents said. that and my phone has no manual or auto focus

I wasn't serious, I didn't mean to be rude. Please accept my apologies. I don't even have a phone, so your'e one up on me. PC any day!

and i thought that to but i have monitored his pc and no temps above 60c underload but it really isnt kinked

  • 1 point

Speaking of temps, what are normal temps for CPU and GPU under load, say Rise of the Tomb Raider for example? My motherboard temps seem high around 40c sometimes, is that bad?
