Hey! this build is mainly used for gaming

Ryzen 1500x- I really should have gone for a 1600x but this CPU does its job well! Keeps pretty cool but OC is being quite difficult

MSI B350 Gaming Pro- This Mobo is decent and gets the job done.

Ram- This RAM works with Ryzen only caused 1 problem after I flashed the BIOS

Storage- I have my OS on an SSD but this drive is great for bulk

GTX 1080- This ASUS one is extremely powerful but at 1080p on older games it underperforms, this is due to the Ryzen CPU but Newer games like Overwatch performs great. GPU can easily hold 144+ but in BF3 and old game like those it struggles. Planetside 2 is also another game that greatly CPU dependent, I can only push 40-75 FPS in heavy fights. For CSGO ultra low at 800x600 4:3 Yields 150-200 FPS while 1080P max all settings provide 300+. The only issue present for this system is older games which seem to struggle the most to keep constant FPS. The GPU does not want to try which makes it difficult to hold higher fps. My GPU is running as expected I made sure to determine that my GPU is not the defect.

Case- This case is alright. I want to change it to the inwin 303

Monitor- 144hz is truly amazing.

K70 - Great Keyboard

Mouse- G203 is a very competitive mouse.

Great Build!!! I would've gone with the r5 1600 though. If you wanna change the case, try the Thermaltake Core G21. It has dual tg side panels, psu shroud, dust filters,,,, only thing it doesn't have is rubber grommets. I have it, great case. It's only $70 US, as well.

Thx! That case looks great but it cost 100 CAD and is not instock :( But I'm going to keep checking might be my next case thx! really appreciate the reply. The 1600 has lower clock speed and the 1500x had better OC. More Cores and Threads might have been nice but they did not have one instock.

If i were you i would have gotten a 1070 and gotten a R5 1600 and used the extra money on a better case other than that nice build

I had a 980 Ti in this build then sold it and bought a 1070 Both worked well. The 1080 was more of an "in the moment purchase". I never really did think to move on to a 1080, 1070 was great for me. The Ryzen 1600 was not instock when I was building and I also wanted the better OC :/. Case is subjected to change this month. Thx for the reply!

hi just wondering i have the same motherboard the b350m gaming pro v1.0 but i keep reading that bio version doesnt support the ryzen 1500x out of the box and needs to be updated and since its my first build i have no other way of flashing this. currently havent bought my cpu but now im worried it wont work once i do get it in. So no sure if either to return the mobo or wait for my cpu and then be stuck with it if it doesnt work. Any info would be greatly appreciated
