Description

Decided to give my 2015 build a breath of fresh air (pun intended).

Replaced my Kraken x61, H440 White/Black and white sleeved cables with the NH-D15 Chromax.BLACK, Meshify C - DARK TG and black sleeved cables.

Also added a Noctua NF-S12A PWM chromax.black.swap 120mm in the back as exhaust and 2x Noctua NF-A14 PWM chromax.black.swap 140mm in the front as intake.

Enjoy

Was thinking of doing the same thing with my build. I've got an S340 Elite with 2 NZXT AF 140mms at the front and would like to have quieter/slower fans.

So was thinking of getting something like the Meshify C with some Noctua Chromax fans or BeQuiet ones.

Go for it - you won't be disappointed. Running all the fans in silent mode atm and sometimes I'm not even sure the PC is on!

This looks great ! no RGB either :)

What I do with the cpu fan cables is connect a single pwm cable to the cpu header run that through the top grommet and run the fan cables through the grommet and hook them up to a y splitter in the back. That way it cleans it up in the front and its easy to mess with in the back.

My previous mini c build was similar to this, but check out the rajintek morpheous on my build. You may or may not like it, but I think it wold look killer in your build.

Thanks for the suggestion - I'll check it out! I got some extra cables lying around so I'll figure something out.

Btw the Raijintek Morpheus II Core Edition looks badass and would look indeed killer in this build.

Maybe a future upgrade?

do you think there will be enough space if you add in the heatsink cover for the noctua fan as well?

The covers increase the height of the heatsink by 5mm (from 160 to 165mm) and the width by 3mm (from 150mm to 153mm) - according to noctua.

CPU cooler max height 170 mm - according to fractal design

So yes there will be enough space but only just?

I was going to get the NA-HC4 chromax.black covers originally with a regular D15 but then they released the D15 chromax.black which made the heatsink black by default so I kept it that way. Think it fits with this build but it definitely wouldn't hurt having the covers, it will only make it even nice/smoother.

I would say go for it!

are both your fans on the heatsink even or one higher up due to RAM clearance issues??
