Description
This beauty was purely built for gaming, entertainment, schoolwork, and did I mention gaming? While she looks gorgeous and runs everything i throw her way now, i did have some problems with the original parts. My initial build sported the cost efficient and reasonably powerful (Gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 rev 4), and boy do i have a bunch of crap to say about this thing. First off, I couldn't even get power to it, no led's, fans, beeps, or anything. I was really hoping it would just spontaneously combust just to prove to me that I plugged everything in correctly, but of course with my luck nothing happened. Well I ended up RMAing it just to find that the next one i got had the exact same issue. After receiving 2 bad mobos in a row I decided to drop it and go with the (Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 ATX AM3+) best mobo in the world/ able to run over with a car and still function/ 4 YEAR WARRENTY/ dreammaker. Recieved the new mobo, built the computer without any flaws, NEVER buying a Gigabyte Motherboard again. Now that I've gotten that out of the way lets talk about performance. As you can see from the side data, she runs explicitly cool, almost to the point where I'm afraid my CPU is going to develop frost bite and crumble into a million pieces just like what i wanted to do that that motherboard. When running games,(Sniper Elite 3, Payday 2, Just Cause 2, Planetside 2, Archeage) everything is maxed out at 60fps+, so yea its pretty powerful. Now while at this moment i don't have all of the games i want because this basically bankrupted me, i'm getting Borderlands Pre-Sequel, Far Cry 4, BF4, Arma 3, and some other ones to make all the torment i received worthwhile. I will keep everyone posted on the specs of any new games i get because a lot of people on here would like to get a reference on the fps and performance they would receive if choosing some of these parts. Thanks for reading this post and happy computing!
