Description

My old computer died so I started from scratch and made this. I bought the 1070 because I own a vive and I felt like the 1060 couldn't deliver what I wanted. Everything else I bought simply for looks. I bought the 7700K because I want to do some video editing/streaming. I bought the 7700K without knowing that I don't have the right MB to overclock it (**** my life). I'm open to criticism of my build or set up still trying to improve it.

At that PSU price, you coulda got a 80+ gold...

personally, i don't care about the efficiency of the PSU, I was going to get a 600W EVGA PSU but they were out of stock.

Very confused whether the build is upside down or just the GPU xD, but overall nice build

I'd like to know what motherboard you're using.

I'll admit, there does seem like there could be some form of improvements made. But I can't put my finger on it.

MSI - B250M GAMING PRO Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

Well, alright. The Motherboard is something that could definitely be upgraded in the future. You need a Z-series motherboard if you want to do any overclocking with your 7700K. However your options are rather limited in that depatment. It's still a great looking build, I'm a sucker for mico-atx builds, but I would suggest one that didn't have fixed red LED lights. They kind of clash with your blue theme.

The only thing I would criticise is the 1079 cuz a 1080 comes at a very similar price at about 500-550 bucks. U probably have your reasons for choosing something like this so I won't judge

Just cost I was pushing what I had in the bank to the last cent. I live in Dubai so shipping is like $200 if I lived in the USA or Canada I would have gotten a 1080.

PSU could be a bit better, all I can really think of.

How is the RAM? Im looking at buying it for my CoffeeLake build.

SinclairFighter submitter 3 Builds 1 point 18 months ago

The RAM is beautiful I like the color changing program(you have to go to there website to get it.) The RAM is fast and efficient very nice on the eyes, in real life. However, it is a little more expensive than some of its competitors. It depends if you like the look of the RAM.

5/5 Stars

Yeah I'm builing an Asus Strix setup that has the Aurasync so it should be a pretty good setup.
