Description

After years of having a Xbox 360 I finally decided to join the PC master race. I researched for days.. months to find the perfect parts but I got lazy and just decided to get a pre-built... The worst decision of my life, I got the Zeus mini and it was awful. I returned it and researched more and finally found the perfect collection of components. Pascal is in the title because Iam going to get a GTX 1070 when it is around $380 and then give the GTX 960 to my dad. I'm also super happy with how quiet it is even when gaming.

Part Reviews

CPU

The best i5 for the price. And comes with a super silent stock cooler (;

Motherboard

Super solid and reliable motherboard, but is limited to one GPU.

Memory

Got this 16gb kit for super cheap. Its RAM, it does its job and Crucial is always good.

Storage

Bang for your buck ssd. This is a perfectly good, cheaper ssd.

Video Card

GTX 960 is great for 1080p gaming and it has enough VRAM for future games.

Case

100000000/5 This is one of the best airflow cases on the market, and is super good for first time builders. I love the unique design, and the 3 case fans it comes with are super quiet(;.

Power Supply

I made sure I found the perfect psu, and this is the perfect psu. 650 W is more than enough, fully modular gives you lots of flexibility and 80+ Gold makes your energy bill happy. Can't give enough praise to this psu, it should be alot more expensive.

Wireless Network Adapter

This is super fast wifi, which is perfect for gaming. And the atenna is magnetic so it can stick to your case.

Speakers

$12 Speaker but sounds like $100+.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it's "clicky"

Its pretty clicky, I love the sound. It is a steal for the price. The only thing was the font on the key board is a little wierd. It feels just like a cherry mx blues.

If you don't mind me asking, what monitor do you have. Also the build is great, I'm going to build a gaming computer soon and I want to build it in the Corsair Air 240. Great Build Man!

Thanks, I believe the monitor is a ASUS VS247H-P 23.6" Full HD 1920x1080 2ms HDMI DVI-D VGA Back-lit LED Monitor https://www.amazon.com/VS247H-P-1920x1080-DVI-D-Back-lit-Monitor/dp/B005BZNDS0 I love the air 240, good luck!

Did you have any problems with the ram and mobo?

  • 1 point

Nope both work fine, but the motherboard can only have 1 gpu. So no SLI or Crossfire
