Description

New work station that I've been waiting to put together.

I know the Enthoo Evolve ATX is like a mythical unicorn in that its distribution to the US has been very slow. I wanted to get some pictures online to really show off the case since I don't think the next batch will arrive until September.

It is by far the best case I have ever built in and its by far the best looking build I've done.

Also as requested by some I included a picture to show how I mounted the LED control panel. I removed the expansion plate and used some existing screw holes to install it from an SSD bracket in the back. It was almost a perfect fit.

Couldn't be happier with it.

Very NICE Build..

Went with very similar part selection for my Deadpool build..

Beautiful! I've been going back and forth for my upcoming build. I have the mini ITX version of this in my current parts list, but damn it every time I see a build with this case it makes me change my mind.

How big is this case? I need a banana for scale.

Regardless, it's a great build.

Awesome build, and what lighting are you using?

  • 2 points

I used these LEDs.

They are a great alternative to using the sticky led strips, and they are controllable to a degree.

Thanks man. I really like the way that looks. I might pick me up some. Lol

I hadn't done a build for a while before I got my EVOLV (mATX). I had ordered a nanoxia but it was awful and went back and I was bowled over by the quality of it and I can't sing its praises enough from the quality of stock fans, the fan controller, the thought and attention to detail, the thickness of the aluminium. Perfect case IMO.

Your build looks great, first time I have seen a build in the full ATX

This is a seriously beautiful machine.

My only complaint is that (i believe) the USB cable to the front of the case is under the GPU power cable but going up.

That's a beautiful case/build +1

Nice to see someone else finally post a build using the Evolv ATX version of the case, lovely clean build. Just wondering why didn't you mount the radiator at the top? Here is my build using that brilliant case https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/b/Zgf8TW

I wondered this. Technically it's pulling in cool air which is better, but sometimes the pump struggles in this config?

Very "Terminator"-esque. Love it! I would really like to make my next build look like this. Only think I would change is the GPU.

sick build! wow! I am madly in love with the evolv and your color scheme is so intimidating!

I suppose this is a working rig and the 960 is thrown in for some light gaming on the side?

Thanks! that is correct though I do have a gaming machine and I have been considering throwing in its 970 into this rig.

I'd like to know where the NZXT LEDs are being powered from in your PC build. Like if you could pinpoint the location where they are plugged in at xD. Amazing build and congrats on featured!!

Your build has actually convinced me to switch motherboards from the ASUS X99 Duluxe to the TUFF. I will probably be modding it to paint the thermal armor white when I get it! But you helped me realize how much of a solid mobo this one is!

  • 1 point

Wow. That is beautiful and powerful. Couldn't have chosen better parts myself. Great job. The only problem is that you make me jealous that I don't have it.

this looks sick. Bad part is Windows 10 Windows 8.1 i think at the moment is a tad more Value for money (windos media plawa)

  • 1 point

very good work. is there a reason you did not use the motherboard fan? I have the same motherboard and the fan is a bit noisy for sure.

  • 1 point

You said it yourself, the fan just generates to much noise to be worth using.

  • 1 point

Very nice build!

I will use this case on my build. Just curious ,could you tell me what temps do you have? Does only three fans are enough? I'm planning to use 6700k ,H110i GTX & 980 Ti AMP Extreme and I will probably put two additional fans on top.
I'll post my build too when its done :)

PS: Sorry if my English is bad ,it's not my first language.

Just curious, man. I've read a lot about the 980 ti Strix GPU sagging. Did you experience similar sag issues?

  • 1 point

Hey! Just wanted to say you have a beautiful build. In fact, you helped influenced the build I completed and gave you some credit in my description :)

Does the GTX 960 bottleneck the CPU in any way? What temps are you getting with that cooler?

  • 1 point

nice pc the 5820k is probably one of intels best price to performance cpu!

  • 1 point

Is that front radiator fan pull or push? Thanks!

  • 1 point

Its both, its a push pull config. It have 3 120s in the front and two 120s on the back of the radiator.

  • 1 point

its dual. Its got fans on both sides for maximum airflow.

  • 1 point

Amazing build!

How are your temps with the only intakes fans pushing through a rad ?

I might go with the same case but with the EKWB predator 240.

  • 1 point

Its actually a push pul config in the front with three 120 along the front to pump air in. With that said I hardly ever have temps exceed 50c under heavy load.

  • 1 point

What LED do you use?

  • 1 point

Does the red LED also come from the NZXT strip or something else?

  • 1 point

Red led comes from the board to indicate errors. The OS had yet to be installed so thats why it was showing an error.

  • 1 point

Looking at your build, makes we wished I had got a 240 radiator instead. I want to front mount my radiator to suck in cool outside air but my radiator is too big. Your build looks awesome

Asus X99 SABERTOOTH is a Monster of a Board.

Just make sure you have both hands free if you need to lift it due to its weight !!

That would be pretty sad if that mobo was poop, since it's a TUF board.
