Your powersupply is so overkill it almost costs as much as your cpu

+1 on first build and completing it. I honestly don't know much about Intel parts, so can't say much on the pairing but seems like its a good pair. The PSU is a bit expensive compared to other parts but if you plan upgrade down the line it works or move it to a new build. At least you didn't cheap with a 30 dollar pile of trash like I do always. Enjoy your build, as for the mess to each their own.

There are so many things wrong with this, including but not limited to your power supply being only $10 less than your CPU. Also, clean up your room!

And no SSD is the BIG thing wrong here. A SU635 240GB model would kept him below $900!

I.. I just.. just can't. You can get a better looking budget setup just by cleaning everything. Some cable management over the table and thats it. Hoping to see a new photo with everything clean, good luck!

That's actually a big change! Really nice job with the cables, looks so much better. Next step is to get a good desk. U can even just get a counter top table and 2 pair of legs, and place them on the left side and use your actual "desk" to support the other side and that's it, more space for your mouse and keyboard. It's better to have a decent and ergonomic place to work first, your body will be grateful. Again good job bro!

Should have paid half the price for a power supply and invested that $60 into an SSD for your OS. Also, like many others have said, clean your room.

Like probably a CX/CXM or similar, since this isn't a high-power build. A 512GB 660p would be the choice from here to get.

Your probably cant use 64 bit and you have to download drivers from the internet if you cant use the disc. You could be cpu or motherboard but unlikely do you have Windows on flash drive ?

That is quite the hellscape you're living in. I love the additional cat litter tray next to the dresser, really adds a sense of dread to the picture.

You should sell that useless drum kit you have and instead invest in an actual desk, plus clean up your environment and stop living like a troglodyte.

Everyone stop hating please!! It’s not that bad to have a psu good for upgrades! It’s pretty decent. +1

Why in the world did you get such an overkill PSU for parts that don't need anywhere near that much power, and one stick of RAM? Really? You should've asked someone to help you budget your parts better because this is not good, but congrats on your first build anyway.
