Take notes, everyone. This is how RGB lighting should be used! As complementary accent colors for a build theme. Not some rainbow puke, disco ball system that lights up your entire house. Awesome job with this build. It looks clean and professional.

take time to customize the lighting instead of being blinded by the default seizure mode patterns

He took the time to photoshop it as well, so not quite a true representation.

But very well done.

This looks so crispy!!! I've had that case sitting in it's box unopened for like 3 months now .... been too busy to get around to modding it so I can transfer my build into it!!!

Did you have to update the BIOS on the MOBO prior to it working correctly with the CPU?

I was able to boot with the 9900KF, bios appeared to recognize it correctly. I then updated BIOS before installing windows. I didn't have to update it before putting this CPU in fortunately.

Cool, thanks for the response. Love the build by the way. Using you for inspiration.

Beautiful! I haven't seen one of those EVGA adapters for the graphics card connectors in a while. Makes the cabling look really clean.

Hey, I was designing a build with i7, I was thinking however, should I change tot this? here is the original build I was planning for: https://au.pcpartpicker.com/user/DuddyboiPlayz/saved/ I'm not on any budget,

TBH i dont think the 9700k represents good value, much better off with say a Ryzen 3700X. Doesn't make much sense to me to go intel atm unless its going to be a 9900K/F

The intel nvme has a much lower read/write speeds compared to say a samsung evo. And when selecting power supplies, they run most efficiently when you're using about 50 percent of their output. So, a 550w would likely work fine, but getting something in the 700-800w range would likely lead to bit lower leccy bill and happier psu.

Hey! Know it's been a bit since you posted this but I had a question. Is your PSU getting "choked" with its current orientation? Or is there a display/RGB logo on both sides. I have an Evolv X (ironically I have the same board as well) and looking at PSUs.. I love the Asus THOR PSUs but obviously don't want it to be starved of air in the case since there's no ventilation on the top because of the PSU shroud.

Nah it's perfectly fine, in fact you'll find that the majority of the time the PSU fan doesn't even spin up unless its under a hardish load

Another question, actually. How did you make your 2-digit "display" on the top right of your motherboard white? The red on it would look far better as white for my light blue build.

Its still red irl, just some photoshop trickery
