Description

Going for the black and white scheme. Built primarily for gaming and general use. It plays all my games on Ultra at 1080p. No problems at all, this thing runs like a beast. The corsair fans are louder than expected.

So I'm debating between an r9 290 with a g10 and h55 mod or a 970... The price difference is huge and I don't see a big gain in performance... Is the 970 really worth it? Or should I wait for 3xx series?

Hey I just came across your build and noticed in your photos that your H100i looks like it's mounted backwards. The fans should be on the other side of the radiator sucking cool air from outside and pushing it through the radiator. It looks like yours is setup to pull air from the inside and push it outside which means you have no intake fans at all (which is bad for temperatures and dust). This build was a while ago so maybe you have fixed it but just wanted to make sure! What temperatures are you getting?

By the way my build is VERY similar to yours lol looks good
