So this build I Nick named the overcompensator. Mostly because my friend is not a big guy for his age and he drives a really big lifted pick up and he likes to over compensate for everything. So this is his rig. Most of the parts were chosen to my recommendation and then I helped him put it together and wire it all up.
He wanted the best cpu on the market but he didn't want to spend 1000$ on just that, so I offered a 6 core 1600x which he liked the idea of.
The cooler is the captain ex 240, because the Nzxt kraken was out of stock. But this one looks really cool in person.
The ram, it's rgb, and that's all that matters.
The mobo has a ton of rgb, and that's all that matters.
The GPU he already had so we just reused it.
Psu is full modular because only the best for the overcompensator.
The case is RGB and all glass and man am I jealous, but more RGB yes please!
And to top it off a 850 pro 500gb SSD.
This baby boots in a nice 13 seconds flat to the desktop.
Ram runs just fine, and everything runs just fine...except now he needs a display port for his 4k monitor.
This guy does not game, or watch 4k movies, or had Netflix / prime...he has it just because he can. But hey I had fun putting it together.

And yeah he doesn't game. But the overcompensator joke is physical (he's a short guy in height, his pick up is a very highly lifted f150 on tired that are almost his height)
