Description

This is my first ever PC build. I researched all the parts myself and my dad helped me put it all together. This turned out better than I had imagined. I'm 13 so go easy on the comments, okay?

My recommendation would have been to not get that CPU cooler, and spend the extra money on a better graphics card. I would have gotten the 1660 or 1660ti in your price point.

A stock air cooler does just fine for and i3 8100, literally the lowest power draw of any CPU in the lineup, i could breath on the thing and it would stay cool..

You should have gone with the rx 570 instead of the 1050 ti. It costs the same (often less) but is 40% faster. That cooler is also completely overkill for the i3 8100.

Also the free games with the RX 570. AMD just owns the budget end of PC components.

You got really good prices on a lot of these parts. Sure in its current configuration watercooling doesnt have much of an impact but it looks great and in a few years you have a system ready for some serious performance upgrades. +1

Would have dropped the cpu cooler and got an 8400/9400f if you want to stick with intel otherwise would have went with an r5 2600. There is cheaper ram priced at around 80 bucks. would have went with a different gpu, either a gtx 1660 or a rx 580. Also would have forgone the NVME, there is no real benefit for a casual/gaming user over just a sata drive, there are sata m.2's that would have let you get double the space for pretty much the same price. Otherwise looks great.

If you look at the motherboard, I am certain that it was built with the intent to upgrade shortly down the road. Probably to an 8700.
