Description

In the development of this PC build I asked myself: Where do I want to go with this? I have played games for years and now came to point where I first have the money to stretch the limits of a normal pc and second the desire to play on something more capable than a laptop with a i5-4220U. At first, I dispatched the idea of a Midi-Tower because why would somebody buy a huge case and fill not even half the space with pc parts? As you may see now, the OCD is strong in me.

So, I spent the first half of this year figuring out what dimension this should have. I went from a µATX chassis to an mITX like the popular H200i. But then I came across the SFF scene on reddit and saw the case of my dreams: the Louqe Ghost S1. Solid materials, clean look and not more space than needed. I ordered the case in July and because of multiple problems I got the case at the end of November. If you`re interested in the problems of a small company with the idea to fabricate a computer case you may visit their reddit site.

But the whole waiting had also a good side. I had plenty of time lurking for the right deals and shifting between different wish lists (Intel vs. AMD/ Nvidia vs. AMD/ GTX vs. RTX) and learn more about the PC building process. This is my very first own PC and I spent tons of time researching the right parts. Let me know what you guys think!

That is an extremely nice case, and a seriously tight build. Wow.

Looks pretty dope! What about thermals? It must get very hot in there.

Not the best as expected. But not as bad as i thought, the nh12 does a pretty decent job

I'm confused... In the first picture, you have the case with a large top hat on, but in the rest, you are aircooling it... What am I missing?

Its aircooled in every picture. But for the 1080 ti ftw3 you need one of the three top hats (its the L one in the first picture) otherwise the grill wont fit on top. At first id planned to go with an aio as i ordered the ghost in july but I`m very happy with the nh12 now.

Quick question. Did you need to buy separate AM4 brackets for the NH-12? Or did it come with them?

Sorry for the late answer: You need a seperate AM4 bracket for the NH-12, but it was included in the package. I think they`ve added it in every new bought NH-12 and NH-12s since the release of AM4
