Beforehand, pls exuse the mild image quality. Most were taken with cellphone and low light. And pricing isnt completley right either. There where a couple of parts i either coulnd find or just didnt add. Lets just say about 1000ish euros. ( Yes i live in europe)
Hey PPP community,
this is my official build of my own. I say that bacause the last PC i build was with my dad nearly 6 years ago starring an AMD PHENOM X4 3.2 GHz with a XFX Radeon HD 5750. It was my pride and joy at the time, called "Blue Dragon"
It lastet for quite a while for my gaming needs (for example it played Alien Isolation pretty decently). But as time went on the PC became more and more unstable with random blue screens and what not, so i decided to start from scratch and only taking the harddrives from that build.
Since then i have been saving up money and steadly upgrading my parts.
About 2 years later, I have this beast of a machine compared to what i had before. And im loving it.
Its name now is "Hollow Cinder".
The Build before was, as old computers tend to be, loud as a Jet. Fans with coil wind, loud powersupply fan, stock AMD cooler can. So one of the most importand things i wanted for the next one was silence.
With a couple of beQuiet fans and Cryorig Silent fans and nearly achieved my goal. The only thing that is noteably audible are the HDD's. There both pretty old. I think they have been in use for over 6 years. I plan to get a newer one soon. But i just dont want to go through the hasstle of copying everything again so ill be patient.
Next up was i wanted to look at the beauty of my new computer and ive always liked B&W Color scemes. But i always felt like that the B&W Colored on PPP werent truly black and white. I mean it seemed like most parts were either or but ,not totaly B&W. So i set out to make that happen. Case black and parts as white as possible. ( Exept the CPU cooler i just love cryorig that much) But in because of compatibility issues and faulty hardware i had to slowly give up that idea and go with whats best. Meaning my B350 TOMAHAWK Arctic was faulty and the price was low for the x370 so i got that instead. The GPU i was running was from PALIT. Very plane looking card with no backplate and a neutral design. I really wanted a backplate and better cooling. The white ASUS Card would have been my choice if it had a backplate and cooling, as i researched woulnd have been improved by much. And so the MSI card was chosen. Do you now understand the title?
I also fell in love with sleeved cables and clean cable managment and interior. I think i made that happen. I also did i tiny bit of case modding. By that i mean i put the SSD up front instead of hiding it in the back. With the help of some adhesive it proudly sits in my view.
Im not so sure about OC'ing yet but i guess since i have a ryzen chip i will. ( at some point)
Dont get me wrong she is still a beauty. Red accencts snuck themselves in but honestly is still looks preety good. Plays everything at the settings that i like, stays cool and runs quiet.
Feel free to ask or comment!
Great chip and great value! Havent had any problems so far, and people are saying OC'ing is a bliss with this one.
Looks freaking smooth and cools very well. Barley audible.
Should have gone with the carbon version but only because of aesthetics. Performance wise it does very well!
Does what an SSD does. I came from a 6 year old HDD and having this is just a dream!
AWSOME CARD! Lokks and feels very well and havent had any problems running anything. Barley sags( it is kind of heavy) and runs very cool. Perfect for 1080p gaming.
Good and smooth looking case. I only wish i had a GPU power cable cutout.
