After much time spent tweaking the parts list to my liking, asking around on the interweb, shopping for the best deal, I finally have a finished build.
The experience itself was very rewarding, since everything fit together like lego and I didn't run into any major hurdles. BUT – I did end up waiting a week after I started my build to actually finish it. Long story short, I had to order a usb wireless adapter after finding out that my GPU was covering the only available PCIe slot for my wireless adapter card (grr).
And with RGB being all the rage at the moment that just adds that finishing touch with the least amount of effort, I decided to install these RGB LED strips at the last minute (I'm glad I did it)
They were a good buy, but a little hard to work with since you only get 100cm of the thing and I ended up sticking a part of it on the edge of my case fan since I didn't have a choice (it's a budget case).
Overall, it went really well with my case being the only major setback to getting cable management perfect.
OCs and all that other good stuff is yet to be completed.
