Description

Build i made for a friend and built with him for college, it should run anything with quality. He do use Adobe and some programming app so with gaming and streaming in mind, it should hold it's **** for a while.

We didn't think the nitro+ would fit ( 300 mm is big for a gpu) we have just a small of 1cm beetwen the kraken and the gpu.

Very happy of the final result.

We got the build for a total of 1238 euros. And i learned you can cut down the price by making a command directly at a store. No transport fee !

Part Reviews

CPU

good baby, Ryzen Master do it's job

CPU Cooler

-1 as i wasn't here for the testing and too much cable but thanks nzxt for thinking that amd has a special bracket for their cpu so you just need one screw to fix it.

Motherboard

very straightforward, you plug things where they say you need to.

Video Card

Big, bulky and beautiful. And hold very well for everything we've thrown at it.

Case

Cable management is awesome but rgb for the aer fans is quite tricky to understand.

Case Fan

Need two cable to work so a bit dissapointing as it need even more cable management.

I was looking at getting that same B-450 mobo for a R5 3600. How are you enjoying it so far?

no problem it's doing great, you can even choose your ram frequency directly in the bios so no need for xmp and other overlayer that can impact perf. So pretty satisfied for now

I don't think there is much a first timer couldn't do as it is a big board unlike the small one and every connector is noted with it's purpose on but there is only one standard rgb header.

how did you connects 4 fans to the ASRock MOBO as the MOBO has only 3 fan headers?

we had a fan splitter in the nzxt aer 2 fan package, it helped because we had tought at first that we couldn't connect the rgb header to all the fans so we needed this splitter for the final look
