What's the card under your GPU?

Jonsbo VF-1 PCIE cooler. Just extra airflow for gpu

Does it actually help?

Only a 2c the best part of it is hiding the usb front io cables on motherboard

I just Googled it and I noticed it's not powered by the PCIE port... Seems odd to me..

No its just plastic pcie mounted to the port. Sata powered

how did you mod that screen in your pc case?

Beautiful!

What small screen in the case is that? I was thinking of doing the same. I’m going for a Seasonic prime ultra which is 2cm bigger (width wise) than yours. How much clearence between PSU and that screen do you have?

  • 1 point

Its just a 5" screen off amazon. Works great. Between psu and screen there is only a cm or 2

May I ask how/what the screen plugs into? And do you have any issues regarding windows screen layout - for instance does your mouse move onto the small display if you push your mouse to the edge of your main monitors?

A link to the screen you got would be great too!

Thanks in advance!

Just plugs into HDMI, USB as well if you want touch screen. No issues with it in windows. yes the mouse goes to the side of the screen.

dont have a link anymore sorry

Gorgeous build. Why did you opt for the pink lighting with the red accents?

  • 1 point

I already had the cables. Doesn't match but still looks decent i guess

  • 1 point

Gotcha. Much better look than stock cables, even in red. They look like high quality cables, probably expensive to replace.

Nice looking build! Cool video as well. Great job. I really want to build in this case. How did you like it? +1

Thank you. Yeh its great. Dont really have any real complaints

+1 for pc

-1 for not expanding wallpapers

+1 for monitor arrangement.

  • 1 point

Ive tried the "stretch over monitors" but it was horrible. I will have to see if i can crop the stars and extend them up to the top monitor

  • 1 point

maybe find a different wallpaper that would match? But if you like it, keep it, your setup :)

  • 1 point

Also why not a 2080?

  • 1 point

I have had the 1080ti for a year already. And i wouldnt pay more for the same performance and hardware that cant be used (ray tracing) haha.

2080ti i would consider if the price wasn't a joke

Hi, I absolutely love your build and am going to use it as inspiration for my own. I was just wondering how the bottom fan on your front panel lines up with the radiator and fans of the X62.

  • 1 point

Thank you. Yeh the radiator isnt covered by the bottom fans. For now they are just there for more airflow but i am doing a custom loop once the i9 9900k is out so i will have a 420mm radiator in front then

  • 2 points

How is that bottom fan mounted if I may ask?

  • 2 points

Because its not againts a radiator i have to wedge it between the fan above and the bottom of the case

  • 1 point

Ah that makes sense, hope it doesn't rattle or anything! Again, lovely build _^

What fans are you using on the rad? I have a s340 elite right now and my x62 kraken with stock fans can't get enough air into the case with it being front mounted. I have a long gpu as well so I can't make it push pull.

I'm looking for a new case and I'm considering this one. Are there any cons with this case? What other cases did you consider?

  • 2 points

I am running Noctua NF-A14 on the front of rad and case and nzxt aer rgb 140 9n the back of rad.

I had the nzxt h700i which is the successor to your case and went to this case and love it. Main reason was for the more aggressive look and also more custom loop watercooling support

  • 1 point

Thanks! I really like this case and I'll definitely put it at the top of my considerations

I cloned your push / pull setup on the front of the case, but I have noticed at times that the noctuas don't spin. I have all 4 fans connected to the Kraken for control and of course the Kraken is connected via USB. Is that the way you have them connected? Have you noticed this as well? When the fans ramp up to account for load I do see the noctuas spin, but I am not sure if it is the AerP fans making them spin with the air draw. If you could break down your fan connections, it would be very much appreciated.

How long was your sleeved GPU cables? 40cm,50,60 etc...

50cm form memory. Too long to be honest

Ok, thats good to know. Thanks Jaz11

How about your CPU and Mobo? I know the CPU ones can be long since they are at top? Im buying my first set and I'm trying to have the right length.

Like the build. I Just build one with the same case and cooler. how to connect x62 radator fans? I have two stock ones. should i connect to x62 exist fan connector? or connect to case fan hub or motherboard directly? Also i found if i use the same way you do like pull/push set up use another two case stock fan. i feel it is lound. And x62 pump fan only can set as low as 60% in cam software which runs around 2000rpm. is it normal? thanks. new to build pc
