I have been using a MacBook Pro for the last ten years and have spent less than 10 hours on a PC. So, I decided the best way to get back into the PC side of things ,was to jump into the deep end!
I had a lot of questions , but received a ton of help from r/buildapc and a multitude of YouTube vids.
I plan on getting some custom CableMod PSU cables in Black/White or all white. I do not like how the stock PSU cables look.
Let me know what ya think!
I am able to get a stable 4.1Ghz OC with a max temp of 75C. I did reach 4.25Ghz but was not ok with idle temps fluctuating by 15+C
Cooler performs well and was relatively easy to install. Corsair's iCue software did not want to work with my Mobo + Ram for the first month or so I built my system. Once a new update was released for iCue, most of my lighting sync issues were solved.
No issues here. I appreciate all the USB ports , temps are great, and provides sufficient power to the CPU
Its RGB Ram, what can I say? It runs at 3200 Mhz and has a buncha colors. 5 stars
I found this from r/buildapcsales for 684$ with 2 free games. I have a mild overclock of +145 on the base clock and +840 on memory
Case is great, fan/RGB controller and software blows, I ripped out the controller and RGB strip.
Love the fans, but the lighting node pro is a real POS. I ended up buying the commander pro so everything (RGB) would play nice together. The extra USB 2.0 and fan headers are helpful
My first real gaming monitor, 144hz is buttery smooth.
I plan on getting a white one for my computer , this headset is also my Xbox One headset. I love the passive EQ levels, once I turn the headset on, I had to dial in my own specific mix.
